I will talk here about methods that include ads in android apps to make money. You can easily start adding ads in the android app to make money just by following the three steps given below:

        Select an Ad Network
Choose the right in-app ad format
Select a Pricing model for the app

      Get Started with in-App Ads

When it comes to monetizing your app with in-App ads there are a few things that you should need to decide before starting monetization. You need to make clear what kind of ad format you will use and what kind of campaign you will use.

      Choosing an Ad Network

Ad networks are the real connection between the advertisers and the publishers. One of the well-known ad networks is Google’s AdMob. But it’s not the only ad network there are many other ad networks out there. Advertisers pay to the Ad network and then the ad network pays to the app publisher in order to show their advertisements on the app. The revenue is distributed among the app owner and the ad network. You have to first figure out the three things such as:

      Who your target audience is?
      Where are they located?
      What are your advertisement goals?

These things will help you to achieve your goals and you will be able to successfully add ads in your android app to make money online.

Choosing the Perfect in-App Ad Format

Ads are displayed on mobile apps in different formats. There are the 5 most popular formats that are widely used for app owners to add ads in the android app. These 5 formats are listed below:

        Video
        Native
        Offer Wall
        Interstitial
        Banner
        Banners Ads

These are the ads that are most users familiar with. They usually are displayed at the bottom, top, or alongside the app content showing text, images, or active images.

      Native Ads

These are ads that are adjusted in apps and they don’t look odd. They are simply just to catch the interest of the user. Native ads match the look and feel of the app in which they are being displayed. Examples are Instagram ads that appear in the Instagram feed of users.

      Video Ads

Videos ads are promotional video clips that are added to android apps. The advertisement that appears in YouTube videos is the best example of video ads. Users have to skip/ignore them if they are irrelevant or disturbing ads intercepting video again and again.
All the other ad formats are some kind of similar but the method of showing ads is different only.

      Choosing an Ad Pricing Model

As we have discussed different types of ads. Now there are different kinds of pricing models that an app owner had to keep in mind while adding ads in android apps. These pricing models are:

        Cost Per Click(CPC)
        Cost Per Mile(CPM)
        Cost Per Action(CPA)

      Cost Per Mile
Cost Per Mile is a pricing model in which the advertiser pays every 1000 times the ads are displayed.
      Cost Per Action
In this pricing model, the advertiser has to play against each click that leads to a specific page or action. Such as installing a specific app, newsletter sign up, or signing up on a website.
      Cost Per Click
This is a different pricing model in which advertisers have to pay the publisher whenever an ad is clicked.
I hope after reading all this guide, you have got an overview of how to add ads in the android app to make money from your apps.
